Infants and Toddlers
Toddlers are encouraged to explore the environment on an individual basis. Developmental processes vary widely from child to child. It is important that children are not pushed or held back as they play and work to develop their own unique behaviors and skills.
The Georgia Early Learning Standards are a guide to planning curriculum that is appropriate for each level of development. Cultural differences, disabilities and ages are taken into consideration as plans are made.
The Georgia Early Learning Guide is available at each Kids’ Stay ‘n Play Center for parents and teachers to refer to on a daily basis. Children benefit most when teachers and parents work together.
